This program provides community-based, weekday services for adults coping with an existing disability or recent changes in health. It promotes a philosophy of dignity and empowerment with a safe, nurturing environment. Adult Day Health Care help adults reach their optimal level of physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning by providing companionship, a variety of daily activities and professionally supervised therapies.
 
The compassionate, experienced, professional staff includes a full-time Registered Nurse, Nurse's Assistant and Activities Director. Families and caregivers find peace of mind and respite from the daily responsibilities of care, enabling a loved one to continue to live at home.
Services include:
   ~ Individual and group recreational and leisure activities designed to meet individual client's need and interests.
   ~ Skilled nursing services: administration of medications; health monitoring; flu vaccines; health and nutritional instruction; ongoing communication with the client's personal physician.
   ~ Intergenerational activities with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
   ~ Support and referral services.
   ~ A hot lunch and nutritional snacks.
