SOAR 55, a program of NCSC, is pleased to announce the January 20th opening of a satellite office at the Framingham Public Library located at 49 Lexington Street.
The office will be staffed by Lois Levick, a resident of Framingham, who will volunteer her time on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesdays to meet with individuals, age 55 and over, who are interested in volunteering in the metro west area.
Lois will also be involved in SOAR 55’s outreach efforts to local nonprofit organizations who are interested in recruiting skills-based and leadership volunteers to help with capacity building and direct service opportunities.
The opening of this office represents SOAR 55’s continued commitment to provide outstanding service to the communities it serves by providing residents and organizations from the Framingham area convenient access to our services.
SOAR 55 is grateful to the Framingham Public Library for providing us the office space and for their support of volunteerism as a way to build and enhance community.
Lois Levick can be reached at 508-532-5570 x4353 or at llevick@minlib.net.
