NCSC's Community Partnerships to Prevent Sexual Abuse is dedicated to building a community where children are protected and supported by caring adults. We offer consultation and training for organizations and workshops for professional groups and parents.
The Enough Abuse Strategies workshop addresses key questions about who abuses children and why, institutional and societal factors which allow sexual abuse to continue, and concrete strategies for parents and professionals to prevent abuse and keep children safe. Strategies include how to take action when someone's behavior concerns you and communicating with children and adults about appropriate safety messages.
This interactive workshop helps participants understand children's sexual behaviors within a developmental context and learn how to respond in ways that promote healthy child development and prevent child sexual abuse.
