The Tiger Spot

At the Tiger Spot Newton North High School students can drop in to hang out with friends, play video games, finish homework, and grab a snack. A staff person from NCSC is available to help with homework, job and college applications, learning about community service opportunities, and more.

The Tiger Spot is located on MAIN STREET adjacent to the Nurse’s Office and opens right after school until 5:00PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tiger Spot events or activities will be posted on Main Street regularly. At the close of the day, staff may provide limited transportation (with parent/guardian permission) to NCSC’s teen center in West Newton.

The Lion Spot

At the Lion Spot Newton South High School students can drop in to hang out with friends, play video games, finish homework, and grab a snack. A staff person from NCSC is available to help with homework, job and college applications, learning about community service opportunities, and more.

The Lion Spot is located in the Cutler Building and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00PM. Lion Spot events or activities will be posted around school regularly. At the close of the day, staff may provide limited transportation (with parent/guardian permission) to NCSC’s teen center on Chestnut Street in Upper Falls.
