Your generosity means so much to thousands of people in Newton and the neighboring communities who depend on NCSC - many of whom would not otherwise have access to affordable, high-quality helping services like those we provide now and have done for more than 100 years.

Who Benefits from NCSC?

Babies, toddlers, preschoolers and older after-schoolers who come to our programs and classes daily for a nurturing, social and educational environment.

Parents and other caregivers, including teen parents, who turn to our staff for support, counseling, and education, or meet with our skilled staff visitors right at home.

Teens, welcomed by capable adult staff at our drop-in centers in the community and at outreach programs in each high school - and strengthened through healthy ongoing relationships with individual adult mentors.

Summer campers, who enjoy a creative, adventurous experience that builds new strengths while school is out.

Families, because they can turn to NCSC for counseling and support around child-rearing, family relationships, and other personal challenges that come up in ordinary life with traumas we all face.

Working parents, who earn a living knowing their children are safe, stimulated, cared for, and well supervised.

And our whole Newton community!

Because when we provide for local children and families' educational, emotional and social well-being, we promote good relationships, citizen participation, and the kind of caring that makes Newton one of the best places to live in New England.

Whether through a gift, grant, planned legacy gift or direct support of a program, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a child, family and the community today. For more information about how you can support NCSC, please contact Carolyn Copp, Vice President of Development.
