Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, and we have fun and meaningful opportunities for you to volunteer! At NCSC, men and women of all ages and backgrounds generously give their time, energy, and experience to help children, teens and families to learn, to grow, and to have fun. As part of SOAR 55, volunteers also provide professional expertise in various managerial projects in non-profit agencies in our area.

To learn more about the opportunities listed below, or to explore where your skills and passions may be put to work for the community, please contact our volunteer coordinator Claire Kashuck.

Prior to volunteering at Newton Community Service Center, we require each applicant to undergo Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) inquiries.

NCSC can help you find the volunteering opportunity that is right for you as well as the organization. We invite you to explore the possibilities of:

SOAR 55 (for adults over 55),
