Teach children strategies for being safe by training as a Prevention Specialist for the Child Assault Prevention Program. You will present workshops to students in grades K, 2 & 5 in the Newton schools to teach simple strategies to reduce vulnerability to assault and violence that focus on bullying, stranger safety, and assault by known persons.
We are planning the next volunteer training sessions, and accepting new volunteers now.
Minimum Commitment: 6 hours per month for one school year.
